We are looking for an experienced product-minded fullstack engineer to join our team. You should have previous experience as a Software Engineer. You will be responsible for building the core product, and will have a lot of freedom to shape the product and the company. You will be working closely with the founders as one of the first employees.
The Bluebook journey began on two seperate ends. Philip was building an AI agent that automated 85% of his startup's accounting tasks, though it still needed expert oversight. Jonathan, who ran a creator-focused accounting practice, approached Filip about building AI research tool specifically for accountants and starting a company. They all came together through an LLM event (where else these days…) and merging their ideas: creating a data flywheel from advisory and bookkeeping that puts accounting on autopilot.
Today Bluebook is transforming the accounting landscape by developing AI agents that automate tasks such as research, reconciliations, and monthly closings—enabling every professional to serve 200 clients instead of just 20 and reducing research time by 30% so they can focus on strategic advisory work. As a fullstack senior product engineer at Bluebook you will work closely with the founding team, and as a part of our engineering team to develop tomorrow’s solution for accountants!
We expect you to have a broad toolset, and a pragmatic and problem-solving mindset. You are a senior generalist but have deep expertise in one or two areas.
